One final note about our park, we hold public meetings every month where we discuss the progress and day to day running of the park programs. All residents of Thornton Dundee are welcome and encouraged to attend and become a part of our community. Dates and times of our meetings are updated regularly.

Thornton Dundee Park Opening

Thornton Dundee Park will be holding our annual Park Opening on Sunday, June 22nd. Please join us for fun, food and refreshments. All are welcome!

Thornton Dundee Tigers - Canadian Cancer Society "Relay for Life" 

Members of Thornton Dundee Park will be participating in the Canadian Cancer Society's "Relay For Life" on Friday, June 6th at the Civic Fields in Oshawa.  If you're interested in sponsoring the Thornton Dundee Tigers team, please feel free to visit the "Relay For Life" website by simply clicking the link above. N.A.S.C. Hockey Registration - 2008/2009 Winter Season

N.A.S.C. Hockey is attempting to expand it's current programming to extend our successful instruction programs into the Novice aged division.

In order to ensure your child's winter hockey programming and to ensure N.A.S.C. Hockey is assigned the correct ice requirements to run our programs, it is very important that you please register in May to help ensure we have enough registrants to acquire this additional ice time.

Registration fees in combination with the monthly hockey fees cover ALL of the following:
 

• Park supplied jerseys/socks
• All games/ All practices/ Referee fees
• Individual and Team pictures
• Season ending Pizza Party for 4,5 and 6 year-olds
• Annual Swiss Chalet Christmas tournament
• Goalie clinics (1 session per month)
• Power skating (6 sessions over the course of the season - Novice to Peewee)
• Hockey school instruction
• Coaches mentorship program (*Paid OMHA certifications for ALL N.A.S.C. registered coaches/trainers/PRS clinics) - *certain guidelines apply
• OMHA insurance
• League trophies
